Links to Curriculum/Syllabus
This site is designed for stage 2, year 4 students to deepen their understanding of Garrigarrang – Sea Country. It is used before and also after the visit to the Australian Museum. The site looks at key ideas – sustainability, connection to Country, and using resources responsibly. It links to HS2-GEO-01 because students get to see how First Nations peoples interact with their environments. HS2-ACH-01 is linked through the focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural perspectives.
